Introduction to Oil Leakage Fault of Booster in Biogas Generator Set

1. Oil leakage at the compressor end of the turbocharger caused by oil and gas accumulation at the outlet of the pressure shell: Check the turbocharger and confirm that it is a qualified product. Generally, the use of the turbocharger can be analyzed. If the environment is dusty and causes the air filter to block, resulting in a negative pressure of over 5.5kPa, it will cause oil leakage at the compressor end of the turbocharger; When a car is driving down a steep slope in a mountainous area, the biogas generator set will drive at a low speed without refueling for more than 15 minutes. If the gas seal cannot be established on the back of the medium pressure impeller of the turbocharger, forming a vacuum, it can also cause oil leakage at the compressor end of the turbocharger. As long as the air filter is regularly maintained, the idle time of the biogas generator set should not be too long, and this false oil leakage phenomenon can be eliminated.

2. Excessive oil pressure can cause oil leakage in the supercharger: Excessive inlet oil pressure in the supercharger of biogas generator sets is also one of the reasons for oil leakage in the supercharger. When we confirm through inspection that the turbocharger is a qualified product and find that the oil pressure of the biogas generator set is much higher than the specifications in the manual, we need to check the lubrication system of the biogas generator set, whether the pressure regulating valve is stuck or malfunctioning, and if the oil pressure of the biogas generator set is normal, the oil leakage of the turbocharger can be eliminated.

3. Poor oil return can cause oil leakage in the supercharger: The oil return of the supercharger of a biogas generator set is returned from the supercharger oil return pipe to the biogas generator set by the weight of the oil. If there is a contraction or blockage in the oil return pipe, the oil return of the supercharger will not be smooth, and oil leakage will occur at both ends of the supercharger. It should be ruled out that the oil return is not smooth, and the fault can be eliminated even if the turbocharger is intact.

4. Frequent stopping and starting of biogas generator units during construction: Frequent stopping and starting of biogas generator units during construction can cause coking at the turbine end of the turbocharger intermediate casing; At the same time, it causes coking in the intermediate shell oil return chamber, causing the turbocharger oil return chamber to shrink and the oil return is not smooth, resulting in oil leakage. It is necessary to check the integrity of all vulnerable parts and remove coking.

5. Severe gas leakage in the biogas generator unit can cause poor oil return of the turbocharger and oil leakage from the turbocharger. Some turbochargers have found oil leakage, even at both ends. After inspection, the turbocharger is qualified and the oil inlet and return are normal. After disassembly and inspection, it was found that there are thick oil stains and some hardening in the middle section of the turbocharger's main shaft. After cleaning, it was found that the middle section of the main shaft has turned pale yellow and there are also oil stains in the turbocharger's oil return pipe, From the above phenomenon, it can be inferred that the gas leakage of the biogas generator unit causes poor oil return of the turbocharger. Replace the four matching biogas generator sets to eliminate gas leakage from the biogas generator set, clean the turbocharger and return oil pipe, and eliminate the fault.
